Saturday May 26th Scouts (families also invited) meet at the church parking lot Saturday at 9:30 am (Scouts in Class A uniform).  Travel to the Museum of Natural Sciences to view the Hunters of the Sky exhibit and other displays.  Admission to this special exhibit: Adults $4.00, 12-18 yr old $3.00, <12 yr old $2.00 After the museum we will stop for lunch on the way back, returning to church early afternoon Hunters of the Sky Exhibit May 26, 2007 For thousands of years, birds of prey have gripped the human imagination. Raptors have been revered as divine messengers, prized as hunting companions, celebrated as symbols of power, and reviled as scavengers and deadly killers. The Museum's newest traveling exhibit, "Hunters of the Sky," takes a close look at raptors. In addition to more than 70 museum-traditional bird mounts, the exhibit includes several interactive portions, including birds-eye-view video footage shot from gliders, a demonstration about the physics of flight, and a "hooting" booth that lets listeners hear and attempt to mimic owl calls.
